Stefano Cataldi was born in Bergamo, he graduated in Ethnomusicology, at the University La Sapienza in Rome, when he was already active as a pianist, composer and tenor singer in the youth choir of the Vatican conducted by Maestro Massimo Palombella, current Maestro at the Sistine Chapel.
He had musical education at the Conservatory of Frosinone Licino Refice and with the Maestros Amedeo Tommasi and Leandro Piccioni played as pianist in the orchestra of Ennio Morricone. With a scholarship he arrived at the Berklee College of Music in Boston (USA) where he was hired as a teacher and graduated in piano and composition. He founded the NiNa Association, had many experiences in teaching, had participated in international composition competitions and was constantly engaged with the concert activity.
In April 2017 he staged his Stabat Mater, in May 2019 he performed Chopiniana, in December 2021 he staged, the show Viaggio nel Jazz inspired by his book that enjoys the preface of the well-known Italian director Pupi Avati.
